Ear Clamps with mechanical ınterlock 105 & 155

Clamp ear: fast and easy mounting, visible deformation is indicative of proper tightening.
Pit: increases clamp strength
Non-Burr slitting edges: less risk of damage to clamped parts

For perfect sealing, the clamp ears must be squeezed correctly during installation.

Clamp Diameter
The outlines are as follows:
To determine the correct clamp diameter, use the hose connection material (ex. push on the nipple and then measure the outside diameter of the hose.Select a clamp whose diameter range average value is slightly larger than the outside diameter of the hose.

Mechanical Lock
A mechanical lock is a mechanical connection that keeps the clamp securely closed. By using mechanical locks instead of point welding, corrosion around tightening elements is reduced.

Assembly Proposals
The clamp ear should be tightened by the force of the fixed tool jaw, this practice is called "Force priority tightening". This mounting method allows homogeneous and repeatable pressure to be applied to the application with a constant tensioning force on the mechanical lock. The use of this methodology in tightening clamps in the 105 and 155 series will balance the component's tolerance variations and allow the clamps to apply a constant radial force to the application. Fluctuations in component tolerances are absorbed by changes in the "ear" cavity (the area between the lower radii after assembly).

Tightening Force

It is important to remember that there is a very close relationship between the desired compression and the selected force for the clamped material.
