The 167 series of StepLess® eared clamps used in plumbing connections are suitable for ASTM f876 cross-connected polyethylene PEX pipes with ASTM F1807/F2159 insertion fittings. Clamp sizes are designed only for PEX applications with corresponding inch sizes. The robust lock design, developed specifically for PEX applications, provides high radial load for clamps. The PEXGrip ® series 167 is preset to prevent the clamp from slipping. This grips the pipe for easy assembly.

Assembly Instructions
The clamps must be fully enclosed in order for the Oetiker PEX clamp to be properly installed with the PEX pipe. Oetiker's ratcheted pliers used in mounting PEX clamps are f2098 compatible and only release when the clamp is completely closed. Use the tool recommended by Oetiker for the correct installation.
