Southco's 56 Spring Loaded Propellers simplify assembly and removal of components. Activated by simple traction, these runways offer simplified positioning of the slide and quick release for easy removal. The 56 series provides design flexibility for confined space applications and can be used as a locating pin in sliding applications or as a quick-release hinge pin for removable doors or drawers. Relatively short retraction - about 3.7 (.15) - and spring-loaded tension allow positive entry / exit of the piston in confined space applications.

STANDARDS AND FEATURES

Designed for panels with a minimum thickness of 0.8 mm

Retractable pin design allows simplified positioning of drive components

The permanently open feature allows the user to rotate the knob 90 degrees to retract the plunger and allow the needle to retract

Reinforced head styles provide a wide grip

Small footprint for confined space applications

Includes standard Prism color fasteners and 4C style button to distinguish access points by color
