Material Sizes
Oetiker collapsible ring clamps can be supplied with a wide range of diameter and material options. The tape sizes should be selected by considering the radial force, hose quality and mechanical loads on the MCR to ensure the required sealing and/or insulation properties under the relevant ambient conditions.

Diameter Reduction
The maximum possible diameter reduction depends on the nominal diameter of the MCR. The nominal diameter of the mcr should be kept as short as possible according to the diameter of the parts being clamped to shorten contraction times, facilitate positioning, and reduce material load on the MCR. Any changes in material structure and tape sizes must be made during assembly. Please note that the shorter the MCR diameter, the more challenging these changes will be.
